A Guide to Enjoy a Stylish Goan Holiday

Goa is the land of beaches and a paradise for style gurus! People visit this place because it helps one forget all of their worries. The place is also known for its bikini clad fashionistas.

Although it is true that not all of us can look drop dead gorgeous wearing a bikini, there are millions of ways to look absolutely stunning. Here’s a brief guide on how to look amazing when in Goa:

No Jeans!

Leave the jeans at home. You must pack as many shorts and summer dresses as you can. In case, you are not a shorts person, pack a few pairs of harem pants, wide leg pants, bright colored palazzos, gypsy pants, linen cargos, etc. You can carry a cape or sarong. Try wearing them at beach villas in north Goa and see if you are comfortable before wearing it outside.

The Beach Wear with a Twist

Beach wear is the best way to turn heads when in Goa. However, if you are body conscious and don’t wish to become a victim of ‘body shaming’, wear it with a twist. Rely on a cool sarong which will prove to be an absolute savior for you! Get into your favorite swimsuit / bikini and wrap the sarong around. You have your own stylish dress ready for the beach. Sarongs are the best idea to extra curves. You will look like a diva on the beach.

Accessorizing is the Key

This is definitely the best part about fashioning up in Goa. Forget the rule – less is more. When in Goa, no amount of funk, color and jazz is too much. Go as big and creative as you can. You can carry your hats, scarves, beach bags, and caps. Flower headbands or bandanas teamed with statement necklaces can perk up your pictures and Instagram profile! Pack the funkiest and most colorful sunglasses for your trip. You can experiment with different frames, reflectors, and colored lenses.

Style for Goan Evenings

This is different from your regular city party-wear! You can wear maxi dresses, rompers, playsuits, jumpsuits, teamed with some funky statement neck-pieces.
